THE PROBLEM

School bullying, with all its ugly, sometimes tragic, fall-out dominates the media these days. The experts have weighed in on the topic with penetrating analysis from every perspective but one: almost nobody's asking where the little bullies learn their bad behavior, and who are their principal role models. That subject is gingerly side-stepped by the media. In some circles, it's seems to be at the center of the proverbial black hole from which no sound escapes.
