Father NOT Guilty Of Child Abuse

(PHOENIX) -- A Phoenix father has been found NOT guilty of aggravated assault. The man was accused for hitting his teenage daughter with a belt. The jury only deliberated 40 minutes before reaching its verdict. The father explained that the daughter was in a heated argument with a pregnant older sister. The father claims he was afraid for the unborn child and used the belt to stop his daughter from harming her sister. The belt left welts on the girls arms and legs.
