Parole officer sentenced for molesting girls in center for emotionally disturbed

A state parole officer was sentenced to 20 years in prison Thursday for molesting two girls in a center for the emotionally disturbed.

Victor Omeni Igwe, 43, was convicted of sexual assault of a child and indecency with a child. He was arrested in August.

Igwe was a part-time counselor at a Houston shelter operated by the Texas Center for Adolescent Rehabilitation and Education Inc.
