Reuters -- Child support groups say the legislature needs to step in and overturn a Texas Supreme Court ruling on child abuse. The ruling prohibits victims of abuse from suing those who know about the abuse, but do nothing. The man who sued to get civil action, Shawn Nash, says the ruling means that if the system breaks down... there is no legal remedy to protect children.
