(PORTLAND) -- Republican gubernatorial candidate Bill Sizemore says the state needs a form of ``tough love'' in schools... to give teachers more control of classrooms. Sizemore says Texas now uses the program he would like to see implemented in Oregon. He says it allows the teacher to make the final decision on a student staying in class, or going to a special academy for more strict controls. Sizemore says such a program would not require any additional tax monies.
